Customer's request: Fuel filtration to achieve ISO 11 filtration code. Line flow: 150 l/min Solution: 3 in-line filters are mounted on a bench to achieve 3-stage filtration: 1st stage: FG-300 with beta 1000 cartridge at 50 microns. 2nd stage: FG-450 with beta 1000 cartridge at 30 microns, water absorbent. 3rd stage: FG-450 with glass microfiber cartridge, beta 1000 at 2.5 microns. With this configuration we ensure the filtration of 99.9% of particles larger than 2.5 microns, and by carrying out the filtration in three stages, apart from increasing the filtration efficiency, we prolong the life of each of the installed cartridges.
